Most professing Christians believe that they have an immortal soul. They have been taught that the dead go to either heaven or hell. Most religions, including every form of Christianity, to a greater or lesser degree, have some teaching about “when we get to heaven” “now they are in heaven” “they’re with the Lord now” or something similar. They may even declare that this is “biblical”. But are these declarations true? Why should believers receive such doctrines and either accept or even worse still, perpetuate them? In reality most believers haven't got a clue that they have become effectively “stupid” by their ignorance of not being willing to question these and other questionable doctrines.
