Most professing Christians believe that they have an immortal soul. They have been taught that the dead go to either heaven or hell. Most religions, including every form of Christianity, to a greater or lesser degree, have some teaching about “when we get to heaven” “now they are in heaven” “they’re with the Lord now” or something similar. They may even declare that this is “biblical”. But are these declarations true? Why should believers receive such doctrines and either accept or even worse still, perpetuate them? In reality most believers haven't got a clue that they have become effectively “stupid” by their ignorance of not being willing to question these and other questionable doctrines. Looking into your own heart - apart from Yahuwah (God) - leads to feeling selfishly sorry because of injured self-respect, and to effort without power, that does not lead to a new way of thinking.

Looking in faith to the Son of Yahuwah (God), Yahushua (Jesus) Christ, crucified for my sins, alone causes the recognition of sin and the repentance appropriate in Yahuwah (God)'s sight; for my conscience is struck by Yahuwah (God)'s holiness and love only by looking at His bloody death on the cross. The accusations of the devil leave behind a general gloomy feeling of failure, of uncleanness, of confusion and of burden. The Holy Spirit convicts tenderly, incorruptly and without misunderstanding, in that He clearly exposes certain sins and shows the way for immediate action through the renewed mind, which He produces in us.
