Spiritual Warfare Today

I meet so many people who dwell on the presumption that it's the devil who is the mastermind behind all things evil and they persistently pray and fight for their result for their unique need, whatever that is, whether physical or spiritual, without taking a look beyond their own house and the temple that has been entrusted to them, as their physical body, or their fellowship among brethren. Surely the enemy is curious about what the people of Yahuwah are doing and it almost becomes laughable to see that where the people of Yahuwah should now in this time of the end be very advanced in their warfare tactics and strategies, they are in fact so retarded because their foundations and functions are wrong or misapplied. The people of Yahuwah today surely do not know any great tactical approach to fighting accept that which has been taught to them, usually handed down and second degree. They have no unique experiences. Victories are not usually victories, they are more likely to be the hand of the enemy allowing rest so you can thank Yahushua and then later for the enemy then to deceive you again when you are engaged in another round of a battle for your personal kingdom of god. 

Even this is so and the enemy and Yahushua are in constant opposition, it may not always be the will of Yahushua for the enemy to be defeated in particular instances, but we must discern this. For this reason, Yahushua does not let everyone fight within the context of moving the spiritual position to one which favors Yahushua. Sometimes, the apparent winning of a battle, without their first being agreement by Yahushua, will indeed hinder what Yahushua wills to do and therefore not favor Him or His will; this being so, now you would have upset the enemy and come into conflict with Yahuwah.

Most immature believers (and I talk even of those whose level of understanding of complete truth is minimal, however long they think they have known Yahushua), usually stay immature by virtue of their lack of comprehension of the spiritual dimensions that exist in opposition to the children of Yahuwah. The enemy has no particular interest in most children of Yahuwah, although he does mark them, because in some way or another they remain attached to him. They have given him authority over them and he will use it sometime and they just do not understand. This applies to almost every believer, including those chosen by Yahushua for unique service. 

Spiritual warfare is not a simple and quick subject where we write books about how we may defeat the enemy. Nor is there a pre-defined structure of discipline by which we approach the enemy to subdue him. Yes there are pointers and experience will teach us from what has happened in order to give us some further pointers about the future and strengthen us in battle, but for what, why are we fighting? Are we fighting for ourselves or do we fight for Yahushua? Are we fighting against Yahushua and opposing His plans by fighting anyway?

Oh, how Yahushua desires so many servants now to be well trained in spiritual discipline and to understand where He is at and where He needs to be. Instead, most saints doing the work of Ephesians 4:11 servants have absolutely no idea about what they are to do in the realm of the spirits\ they just accept what they believe to be right and expect Yahuwah to agree because they have spoken. Not so brethren, Yahushua will absolutely not work in that way, not unless you know who He is and where He is and indeed where the adversary is and of course where everyone should be. Today in 2012 there are few such servants around the world who know what to do and Yahushua is using these servants to anoint faithful brethren to carry His discipline of spiritual fighting forward. Remember the only possible reason for there to be spiritual warfare is that for us to overcome in order to do the will of Yahuwah. There is no other reason. Yahushua will come, for sure and by sharp spiritual warfare and disciplined fighting, we as servants bring forth His body. 

The experiences for most people don’t go beyond the reading the bible or perhaps they have some testimony of fighting spirits but as they are nurtured within their worship (which is spiritual) environment, they are subject to the spirits and even as they go about their daily lives, wherever they go, they take these spirits and are subject to other incoming spirits for good and evil. You see, until you are a Yahushuaian believer, satan already had you and therefore he had no interest in you but now that you are a child of Yahuwah, he has every reason to assault you, when you let him. And usually you do. 

I recall taking off on a mission tour where I started with over 100 names of people who I asked to help me in prayer. These men and women were the epitome of the church and brethren. The plan was to fight several geographical areas of adversarial stronghold and to subdue the adversary in order for evangelical work to be done. I started by telling everyone what my needs were and then telling them where I was and what I was doing. I quickly discovered that as I was revealing more about the work, Yahushua was pressing me to challenge everyone in our relationship. I did. I was shocked to discover that a slow and almost stagnant start to the mission turned to one of the most supernatural experiences that I have ever witnessed. Almost all of the prayer partners became hostile as the adversary in them was exposed and the mission took progressive turns for very powerful exposures and suppression of spiritual dominions as they were uncovered and revealed. Several incidents of power failure occurred with absolute authority given to us by Yahushua to do whatever we needed to and to speak to whoever we needed to, as directed. The mission was successful and Yahushua responded but disobedience inherent in believers determined judgment upon themselves. The people of Yahuwah in that nation would not listen and therefore, consequently allowed satan access to destroy.

Every misapplied prayer and supplication set in an order has the potential for the adversary to hinder Yahushua’s work, even if what has been done is in the name of Yahushua and appears to follow a disciplined structure of obedience. It doesn’t matter. When Yahushua wants to do a work in any place, He will tell his servant. If other servants then decide that it’s not the right thing to do or they do something different then after their work, the adversary will use this confusion to halt the plans of Yahushua for that particular place. This makes the servant disobedient and requires adjusting. It is very serious indeed. This situation should not happen among brethren, but it does, even and especially in apostolic ministry but all the time in “outreach work” by the local pastor or believer.

Spiritual warfare is not for the faint hearted and one can pray to be part of the Yahushua's advanced army of disciplined fighters, but you become a target, not only to the known enemy but also among the enemy unknown. It is quite common, however, once fully trained, for the enemy to make constant supplications even to you, as a servant of Yahuwah. He fears you.

Every true child of Yahuwah living in truth is given authority over evil. He just doesn’t know what that authority means to him or how to use it. For those who think they do know what authority in Yahushua is, I bless you all with wisdom so as to know how and when to use it.

Colossians 1:15-20

“He is the image of the invisible Yahuwah, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning the firstborn from the dead, that in all things, He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things to himself, by Him, I say “whether they be things in earth or things in heaven’”.

Ephesians 6:12
